I am endlessly fascinated with bringing fantastical things to life, grounding them in our world and making them feel tangible. These fantasies and horrors help us connect to each other, sharing these stories and in turn sharing something deeper.
Masks & Crowns
These pieces came to me in dreams, inspired by stories or by the materials themselves. My pieces are handmade, typically from natural materials, repurposed objects and thrifted things. Seeing how each person makes one of these masks or crowns their own is just one of the reasons I love these mediums for art.
Arcana
Tarot is a fascinating thing. A deck of cards with a long history and a lot of mystery. The cards speak to us in secrets about ourselves, divining truths that embody the archetypes of aeons.
Strangeness & Light
Multi-exposure photography can capture movement with stillness, or conjure something otherworldly. The magic is done in camera, with human hands and human eyes. The effect is potent when used with intention.
Darling Monsters
I've always been fascinated by monsters, by the things that live in darkness and shadow. The allure of our darkest parts, and how sometimes a little bit of time embodying our demons can bring us a little catharsis.
