Foolish Endeavors, NAW Imaging and The Space Atelier are returning to Creepatorium and the Haus of Horrors for a spooky, sexy photography experience like no other. If you love to get dressed up and show off, you want to gather your coven, or find a new one, we're ready for you.
Immerse yourself in an afternoon of art and fashion, you'll walk away feeling magic and your own power. With custom built sets, vendors, hair and makeup styling, and three talented professional photographers, you won't want to miss out.

What is Coven Couture?
Coven Couture is a sexy, spooky photography experience hosted by three photographers, Matt Maenpaa, Nikki Wheeler & Ris Mittlestedt, at the Creepatorium Denver. The theme is witchy, spooky fashion, glam and boudoir, and attendees will pose for photos on three bespoke sets.
Joining our photographers will be Lexi Lulu as event coordinator, while hair and makeup styling is available through Kathryn Meese of Hibiscus Fairy Hair. Rounding out the offering will be a curated selection of vendors with jewelry, costuming and more for purchase and renting.
COVEN COUTURE IS AN ADULT EVENT AND ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE 21+
How long will the event be?
Coven Couture will be split into two blocks, to allow attendees ample time to create with each photographer and explore the vendors. VIP attendees will have access for the entire event.
COHORT A 11am - 1:30pm
COHORT B 2:30pm - 5pm
How much are tickets? What does it include?
The base ticket is $150 per person and includes entry for the allotted time, three bespoke sets to shoot with three professional photographers and digital images from each.
Attendees looking for hair and makeup styling from Hibiscus Fairy Hair can purchase a ticket with a styling session included for $200.
The VIP package grants entry for both cohorts, including hair and make-up styling from Hibiscus Fairy Hair. Bonus perks for Coven VIPs include a complimentary gift bag from our staff and vendors, as well as professional-quality prints from each photographer. The VIP package is $500 per person.
Tickets are nonrefundable.
Do I need to come with outfits?
Please bring your favorite looks, be they witchy, gothic, glamorous or spooky. We want to see your All Hallow’s Best. Each cohort attendee will have time for two looks during their time slot, and our vendors will have items available to add to the mystique.
What kind of sets can we expect?
Our photographers are going to be bringing two custom-built sets, a throne and a coffin, in addition to the Creepatorium’s infamous confession booth. Check out our socials for sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes.
What kind of vendors will be there?
We will have a small market of local artists with jewelry, costuming, lingerie, masks, props and more, with pieces available to adorn yourself in during your sessions. We’re still in the process of selecting our coven market, but we’ll share more soon!
When will photos be delivered? How many will we get?
Our talented photo team will deliver 8-10 images per photographer for each attendee, with more available at each photographer’s discretion. Estimated delivery for photos will vary per photographer, but it’s safe to expect them well before Halloween to show off your spooky glory.
Will the event be affected by weather?
Creepatorium is an indoor venue, so no need to worry about weather. The coven shall gather, rain, snow and shine.

Ris is a portrait photographer going on 15 years. From the wild fields of northeast Indiana, she infuses fine art portraits with fantasy, whimsy and love. Blending practical magic and technical expertise, Ris brings beautiful stories to life with her photography.

Nikki is a Denver based photographer from Northern California. She specializes in portrait and editorial work that exudes dark, edgy and grunge asethetics with high fashion and some aspects of Kink splashed into the mix.

Kathryn is a hair & makeup artist with 10 years in the beauty industry and 5 years at Westminster's Yacht Club Salon. She is passionate about creating transformations that help her guests feel like the best version of themselves.

Lexi Lulu (aka The Haunted Housewife) is a content creator, event producer, and model of 15+ years. She is a horror enthusiast who also speaks openly about the “horror” of living with chronic illness. She lives in the Mile High region with her partner and 3 cats.
